Commonly Asked Questions
Ideally, at least six weeks for any sort of engagement (employee training, seminars, retreats, group coaching); however, lead time varies, depending upon the request.
It depends on the nature of the engagement. If it’s a compliance-related workshop, there may be less pre-engagement work that requires the client's involvement. On the other hand, leadership development training always requires some degree of pre-engagement work and responsiveness from the client. Depending on the client’s needs, this step can take the form of meetings, interviews, surveys, or focus groups. Pre-engagement is part of the reason why ample lead time is necessary.
Of course! We use a variety of audience engagement tools that can be accessed with laptops or handheld devices, whether the engagement is provided virtually or in-person. Our team will work with you to determine feasibility.
There are too many variables to provide an exact cost.
When clients indicate that cost is a barrier, we will help clients brainstorm potential solutions. For example, we encourage small organizations to consider partnering with another small organization to reduce their costs.
Please inquire for proposals and quotes.
Absolutely. Many organizations know something isn’t working but aren’t sure where to start. During our initial conversation, we’ll talk through your goals and determine whether you already have a clear direction. If you do, I can provide a quote.
If you’re still clarifying the problem, we begin with an assessment. A Basic Assessment helps you understand the “neighborhood” — the themes your training should focus on, such as emotional intelligence, conflict navigation, or performance management. You walk away knowing the right direction so you can make an informed decision.
A Full Assessment is the equivalent of planning the move. Once we know the right neighborhood, I help you map out the logistics — the training sequence, timing, structure, and any assessments that support the work. You receive a detailed plan you can use internally, with me, or with another provider.
This ensures you get thoughtful, accurate recommendations — and it ensures I’m able to give your organization the time and attention it deserves.
Although every organization is different, effective training starts with clarity. Here’s how we approach new engagements:
1. Fit Call We begin with a short conversation to understand your goals and determine whether we’re a good fit. If you already know what you want, we can provide a quote.
2. Training Needs Assessment If you’re still clarifying the problem or need help identifying the right approach, we move into a structured assessment. This is a paid engagement because it includes analysis, recommendations, and a customized scope of work you can use internally or with any provider.
3. Proposal & Implementation Once the scope is clear, we will provide a proposal outlining the training plan, timeline, and investment. If you choose to move forward, we schedule the sessions and begin the work.
This process ensures you get thoughtful, accurate guidance — and it ensures we're able to give your organization the time and attention it deserves.
