- SWOT: strengths, weaknesses, opportunities & threats
Conduct an honest assessment of YOURSELF and your team.
●Strengths & weaknesses: what qualities do we have that will help us achieve our goals and what about us could hinder our success?
●Opportunities & threats: are there external opportunities or conditions that you can take advantage of that will better position you and your team to achieve your goals? Likewise, are there external challenges or threats that you need to be aware, monitor, and minimize to increase your chances of achieving your goals?

Be on the look out for opportunities to protect and develop your team and organization.
●Check for new laws and regulations
●Identify the people on your team who are ready for more responsibility and promotion.
